Johnn, I blew it yesterday. I had a SINful breakfast of fried thick slices of ham, fried egg (and here is the bad part): I popped open a can of pizza crust dough, unrolled it, cut it into squares and DEEP FRIED the little pieces in hot oil, then drained and tossed them in cinnamon sugar. OMG, it was SO good to be so SINful - first time I have been that bad since the doc told me I had high cholesterol six months ago. Since then, it has been “NO” to all the good stuff - no sugar, no white flour, no pasta, no white potatoes, no butter, no fat, no beef, no fried foods, no deserts.

So, I’ll just have cherrios with skim milk, this morning. Thanks for the invite. (sigh)

The Soldier’s Code

No TV. Food channel, maybe, Even the cartoons are corrupted and false teaching. .. Movies!!!!.ARGH!

Be salt and light. Look to the LORD in all things. Most all of the Iphones, games, Apps, much of the Internet, are offering ungodly and misdirecting content. Especially with Face book, My Space, Twittering, Sex-ting, etc. Our children have not idea how much evil there is with a simple click ..

SAD. TRUE!

God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.

The Bible presents all through its pages men to model after... Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, David,, Daniel, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel,... ... then JESUS, the Apostles, the writers of the Scriptures,... all did their part in giving us the Gospel. The GOOD NEWS.

How strange we find so little time to read and study these magnificent instructions and stories of Our God Thank You, for faithfully posting the Daily Devotional. They are excellent and are wise. Thank You, Lord, for the blessings of this day, may we be pleasing to You, and remember to come into Your presence and know ...

We are the place of Your Presence on the earth. HALLELUJAH!

My Pretty One's Big Lawn Chair is not all that intimidating
For a precocious Kitten who has become quite used to waiting
To find a well hidden weakness that can be exploited when the time is right

While My Pretty One is asleep and my theory can be proved alone and out of sight
As I stretch out long and slender while my paws splay and claws dig in deep
Enough to bear my weight as my hind legs coil tight to release in a sudden leap

That takes me up to where My Pretty One likes to sit while I fight off the urge to sleep
For there are textures to be tested and many tight corners to explore
As I savor a new and exciting view that is not available from the floor

Good morning, everyone.

I may not get all posts replied to before I need to leave;
I want to thank each of your for your contributions.

I am happy to hear that Yorkie and Jaycee are feeling better.

Millie is doing fine; she is happy to be home and
Max is following her everywhere.
They both enjoy Marissa's extra attention.

Marissa found another VBS to attend this week.
The great part is that it is only 1 1/2 miles away. Also it is in the afternoon.
