In the catalogue of life-altering surprises, few compare to the query I received a few weeks ago from CNN/US President Jon Klein: "How would you like to co-anchor a prime time show?"
Surely neither drum roll nor punch line is necessary at this point. My co-anchor would be Eliot Spitzer, former governor and attorney general of New York, variously known as the sheriff of Wall Street and the "disgraced" politician who resigned after it was revealed that he had consorted with prostitutes.

Because the young whore is writing for the New York Post ?
I suspect the writer knows she's been picked as a "conservative voice" because she's anything but on the issues that really matter to CNN, but the lure of teeveeee is so great, that any scruples are out the window.
I give this show four months.
Because 2 idiot liberals create one working brain cell?
Hey IDIOT....he’s Client #9!!!!!
Wonder if Spitzer is going to pay her $3500 a night?
Why does she have to explain herself? Like 0bama, she seems to think everything is about her.
You beat me to it!
This is a cheaply produced show with two has-beens and/or never-weres.
CNN is using it to fill the time slot. It is, like most of CNN’s fare, a festering pile of steamy garbage. Babbling by a couple of clowns and whoever they can convince to appear.
BORING television that will get defeated by Fox handily, and perhaps even by PMSNBC.
Only one thing would make this show worthwhile: if the guests got to tell ES and KP what they REALLY thought of their whoring around.
Think about it: if you’re a guest on this idiotfest, what if you say to Spitzer after he makes an ass of himself, “Well, Eliot, as client number nine would say, ‘you’re a small man’.” BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
Y
$$$$$$$
No matter what she says, the real reason she’s doing it is in the hopes of helping to rehabilitate his image. Spitzer is the kind of guy who can’t accept the public’s warning to “get lost.”
You could be on to something , but I can only relate to being part of whordom if there is a buck in it . Is CNN trying for the Whoraldo audience ?
Because the pay was right?
We already learned what kind of woman you were from the campaign, now I guess the price has been settled on.
The scare quotes she put around “disgraced” tells me everything I need to know.

The MSM is getting ready for more attacks on Sarah Palin. They are usually delivered by women. Phony conservatives like Kathleen Parker can make a career of it.
“Why I’m teaming with Eliot Spitzer on CNN”
Because I hate red neck right wingers as much as Eliot.
... nothing wrong with a structured relationship -- free enterprise is built on them -- in dealing with the creeps of life.
A well-produced TV show is a highly structured environment.
