The hard drinking, smoking, coffee drinking side of my family seems to live the longest.

My dad died of prostate cancer, my father in law from a glioma.
I wish those two word-of-wisdom keepers would have known these benefits of coffee instead of following a false prophet.

It’s strange that caffeine is beneficial to us, because it apparently was developed by plants as an insecticide. The same is probably true of other plant compounds which seem to be good for people, like cinnamon, mustard, horseradish, essential oils in mints, etc. Some of these are effective against other enemies of plants like fungi, bacteria, nematodes, etc.

Four cups is a lot of coffee, that’s a lot of caffien and stress on the heart, my guess is 4+ cups also has it’s downside, that’s why these kinds of studies are stupid

Those who drank five or more cups of coffee a day had a reduced risk of brain tumors known as gliomas. Men who drank six cups or more a day had a 60 percent lower risk of aggressive prostate cancer than men who didnt drink any coffee.

Regardless of whether that hot coffee poured into your mug is decaf or full-caffeinated bliss,
this mugs design will become animated by the hot liquid.
Choosing death over having to drink decaf may seem a bit extreme,
but you just cant mess with a mans coffee.
