Man dies after jumping from Card Sound Bridge
A Miami man is dead and another seriously injured after the two jumped off the Card Sound Bridge "just for fun," Thursday afternoon.
Jorge Suarez-Taupier, 24, died from his injuries and his friend, 20-year-old Isaac Morejon, barely survivde the plunge.
Card Sound Bridge is a toll bridge in Key Largo and is about 60 feet above the water.
Authorities said the two men were drinking beer and fishing befor they made the decision to spice up their evening by jumping into the water.
LOLOLOL

F=MA, IT’S THE LAW!
That does not look like the underside of the Card Sound Bridge.
Much of the water under the card Sound Bridge is shallow. Perhaps the Darwin Award contender hit bottom.
If so, could one say he recreated where he seemingly had to have been procreated - in the shallow end of the gene pool?
That CD was on my desk on Oct. 31, 1988 when I signed up for FreeRepublic and the screenname Publius was already taken.
That was a great idea. (wasn’t that 1998, BTW?)
I lurked for a couple of years before I ever signed up. My screenname is my birthday, as you may recall.
We can only hope he Darwinized himself and didn’t reproduce before he jumped.
LOL
Um, yeah, 1998, not 1988. That’s about how my day has been going :) Yeah, I do remember that was (and still is!) your bday.

He was doing his impression of Obama’s poll numbers.
I have had a similar day and a similar week!
I have a big one coming up this year. It beats not having them! Have a great weekend.
Their decision leaves us better off.

And the worst part is, his estate got a ticket for toll evasion.
I've gone off at 40 feet and all I felt was a good slap on the bottom of my feet. Had friends that did 80 and they walked away. I was too chicken.
