It sounds like something that only happens in movies:Renting a guy to pose as your boyfriend. But it's a growing industry: websites that rent friends, boyfriends and even groomsmen.
Rentafriend.com offers thousands of friends. Whether you're looking for someone to join a movie, restaurant, or wedding: this site has it.
There are hundreds of profiles in the DFW area. Men and women of different ages and backgrounds who are offering to join to the theater, be a work-out partner, or attend a family dinner. They'll be your friend: as long as you pay.
The site says most friends start at about $10 an hour, but many people are willing to negotiate and even dismiss fees depending on what you want to do.
Another rental option is 'Rent local friend.' It's a different way to travel and explore unfamiliar cities. The site sets up travelers with locals who can offer a list of insider tips, or join as guides.
Costs depend on the city, but are between $50 and $100 per half day. A full day is about $100 to $150. It's a different way to mix with locals, and to get to know a city's culture and hidden gems.
One guy writes in a testimonial: ""I had an amazing time here in Rio de Janeiro with my local friend! She helped me to select worthwhile tips among all the information I had on my guide books about Rio. Also she took me to many others, which I am sure I will never find by myself!! Hanging out with a local was definitely the best idea!"
Sounds like the Butters Kissing Company to me.
What type of benefits are there with this friendship? (I'm talking about insurance and vacation pay, you perverts!)
Always on the lookout for new friends.
So ... its basically prostitution without the happy ending?

Havent they ever heard of the Erotic Review site? This has been around for eons. And I’d imagine one hell of an upsell once the “friend” arrives.
Where can we rentaPresident?
Judging from some of the profiles, they look like they are the ones in need of a friend. Nothing like being desperate for company and getting paid for it. God I love this country.
Rent a White Guy: Confessions of a fake businessman from Beijing
How infuriating! My husband and I came up with this idea years ago....we were just waiting for the right time to set it up!!!
(sadly, I am not joking)
