Dutch murder suspect Joran van der Sloot says he'll reveal the location of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway's body if authorities transfer him from Peru's most infamous prison to a jail in Aruba, Radio Netherlands Worldwide reports Sunday.
Van der Sloot, who reportedly fears for his safety inside the infamous Miguel Castro Castro prison, said he will disclose information about Holloway's remains on condition that he be transferred to his native Aruba.
Peruvian President Alan García said Van der Sloot will serve his prison sentence in Peru, according to Radio Netherlands Worldwide. And the prosecutor's office on Aruba has reportedly said there is no treaty allowing prisoner transfers between Peru and the Netherlands.
Efforts by the FBI to try to solve the Holloway case may have inadvertently helped fund the travel that enabled the murder of Flores in Van der Sloot's hotel room.
Believing it was closing in on Van der Sloot, the FBI videotaped and allowed him to be paid $25,000 in a sting operation in Aruba last month. But it held off on arresting him, and he took the money and flew to Peru.

you mean the body?
That's my point ... the US authorities can't try a "body" -- thus they are probably (right now) impressing on the Peruvian authorities that they want to be able to try Joran van der Sloot for his crimes in the U.S. too ... :-)
I wondered why the silly story about her snooping on his laptop. He spotted her winning a large sum of money and killed her for it. There appears to be evidence supporting that. In any case, if he makes it out of prison alive, it will be a miracle.
Game over, Joran van der Sloot.
You are holding a pair of deuces and you are called.
Joran van der Sloot, meat puppet to the scum of South America for the next 30 years.
Actually these compulsive gamblers often kill themselves, which is what I believe is coming soon.
Peru isn’t about to turn him loose to the wishy washy Dutch legal system..
I was thinking the same thing. Since Peru doesnt have the death penalty for his crime, my first thought was bring him to Alabama and [hopefully] fry him here. But I guess he could only be tried here for extortion and wire fraud.
zines zee paper Joran
I cannot sign the paper
Why can’t you zines zee paper?
You have broken both my arms.
I am of 2 minds when it comes to torture. For this arrogant pri, um, psycho, to try and bargain is crap. He shouldn’t have a leg to stand on. Literally. So eliciting info on another murder by any means, in Joran’s case, should be mandatory.
As far as the good treatment by the Peruvians I think of the joke about the guy who goes to He!!. The devil is showing him choices for punishment . People in all kinds of various horrible suffering. The devil opens a door and in this room people are standing waist deep in excrement drinking coffee. The guy thinks this doesn’t look so bad and tells the devil he’ll take it. Just then a demon comes in and says, OK people, breaks over, back on your heads...
I’m willing to bet Peru doesn’t give him up—her family is too influential.
I’m also willing to bet he doesn’t survive long in a Peruvian prison—her family is too influential.
Does this mean that those two Indian brothers from Suriname know something after all?
More than anything I express frustration that this vile serial killer could get away to do it again.
We’re of a like mind, count on it.
And what does Peru get for this exactly? I feel bad for Ms. Holloway, but her daughter is dead. More than that, he will NEVER reveal the true location of her daughter’s remains—he will just play the game for the rest of his life. Hopefully, the rest of his life is short.
He spotted her winning a large sum of money and killed her for it.
But, you'll also notice (from the video) that they knew each other, before she came up to the table. Joran van der Sloot was already at the table and she came up and walked over to him and shook his hand like he was an old friend, right when she came up.
And when I saw the videos of her following him up to his room, she did that so casually, it was like she was already a girlfriend. So, there was already something "going on there" before that evening at the poker table and when they went up to his room.
Not that this has anything to do with the murder, I'm just saying that there was already a lot of "familiarity" going on there before that evening. She was not a stranger, before that night.
And what does Peru get for this exactly?
The Peruvian authorities are not interested in the Natalee Holloway disappearance -- so they're not asking anything and they're not getting anything ... :-)
Peru isnt about to turn him loose to the wishy washy Dutch legal system..
The Aruban authorities don't want him. The last time the police there tried to get an arrest warrant, they were turned down by the judicial system. They couldn't get it. So, they have nothing to do with apprehending or arresting or trying Joran van der Sloot in Aruba.
However, the US authorities do want to try van der Sloot for Extortion and Wire Fraud, after the FBI and Natalee Holloway's mother gave van der Sloot $25,000 for information on her daughter's whereabouts.
That case is in the courts right now and as soon as Joran van der Sloot is finished with his sentence in Peru, I'm sure the US authorities will be glad to get him ... :-)
We can only hope everyone sees the evil of a guy offering to ID the remains of one young murder victim in exchange for going light regarding his latest young murder victim.
He already extorted the Holloways and led their rep to a false location. I’d say take this offer as proof of guilt, double his sentence and keep him in Peru. It’s ridiculous to think N Holloway is anywhere but the ocean.

The Peruvian authorities don't care about the Natalee Holloway case, so anything with that case is not going to affect their "Stephany Flores case" in Peru. They're pretty much said, very explicitly, that they want nothing to do with the Natalee Holloway case.
You're not going to see that.
What you might see, though, is that the US authorities are going to impress upon the Peruvian authorities that they make sure that they are able to get their hands on Joran van der Sloot, when his sentence is done in Peru. I can see that ...
My guess is they took her body way out to sea, chummed for sharks and once they were swimming about, they threw her in. Sounds disgusting sick, I know, but how else to explain her complete, total disappearance. (Checking the bottom of the well in the Sloot's backyard might have been helpful, who knows.)
I heard one Peruvian say they'd allow Arubian officials to come to Peru and question van der Sloot later, but no possibility he'd be going to Aruba.
Tell him they will cut body parts off until they find her.
That makes sense ...
