There’s likely a string of dead animals when he was younger; no feelings, raised by a dad who was all business, no fathering, etc. Likely the case...
Where are the parents of this girl in Peru, why don’t we hear about them, etc.?

It is, and I wish this kid’s dad could see what his support for his son wound up facilitating.
At least this puts the spree to an end. (If he was in fact the person, sure looks like he likely is)

Horrific but not particularly stunning. Even when he was 17, the way the Natalie Halloway case proceeded convinced me that she was not the first nor would she be the last. Joran grew up thinking he is immune and had a powerful father that protected him in whatever he might get into. So long as he stayed in Daddy’s sphere of influence he was, indeed, immune. Now Daddy is dead and Joran doesn’t understand the ramifications of that fact. And he goes to other places to practice his art where Daddy had no influence when he was alive and even less in death.

In Peru Joran has a reverse situation from that in Aruba when Daddy the Judge was alive. He killed the daughter of a politically influential and very popular Peruvian. Her Daddy is taking care of legal business even as we discuss this thing.

I read the father was a big shot in Peru.
He’ll get his justice so he won’t have to be as loud as Natalie’s Mom.

I am pretty sure Daddy knew all about it. Natalie was likely not Joran’s first victim nor his first need for Daddy’s extra-ordinary protection. It makes me wonder about the father’s appetites.
