That profile reads like a girl trapped in a boy's body. WTF is up with the "muah!" crap? I'm starting to wonder what REALLY went on in that family behind closed doors.
He confessed. I’m willing to bet that his conscience has been driving him crazy for years. What a shame another young woman died because of it.
The punk said she “had no right” to look at his personal laptop. I guess that was the ‘all clear’ to his mental state that he had a right to kill her.
Lock this bastard up for the rest of his life.
I read the post as a jab at the administration’s lack of screening whom they send to our doors, not that everyone who works for the census is a criminal.
Similar to the Green River killer in my neck of the woods. He got out of the death penalty by showing the police where many bodies were buried to bring peace to the families of the missing women. He may think he made a great deal, but he’s still gonna have to die SOME day. On that day he will face the REAL judge.
Why pick on his brother? Leave the guy alone!
Would YOU (I mean anybody) want to be pulled into a mess that one of your siblings caused?
If one of my siblings did something like this, it wouldn't be MY fault!
In exchange for money, he was going to tell the family where to find Natalie's body. This guy needs to be put away for life.
Why are you so intent on going after his siblings?
Do you have any siblings?
It’s not their fault that their brother turned wacko.
So if YOUR brother or sister or cousin or whoever commits murder, YOU are guilty, too? Just because you're a relative?
I am very sorry for the Holloway family. The pain must be unbearable. They have no closure. I am also sorry for this girl's family. They have a body to bury and a grave to visit, but that doesn't make it hurt any less.
Don't take it out on the punk's family. They already have enough to deal with.
I gave the minimum required info on the short form; got the long form mailed to me along with that little post card reminding me that the census is the law....I tossed the long form because I had already mailed in the short form. Then I got a visit from a census worker. I was very nice to her and told her I had mailed the form in and gave her the same information. I only gave the number in our household and listed all 3 of us as “American.” I was actually wondering if they sent her out because of my lack of answers; however, maybe the short form never made it. I don’t know.
I agree!
Thank you for your sanity! =)
His story is a load of BS. He found out that if he didn’t kill her for robbery or kill her for pleasure, then his sentence in Peru will be much, much shorter. He only faces 6-20 years with his story, but 25-35 for murder during robbery, and she was indeed robbed. He’s had several days of free legal advice courtesy of the Dutch consulate in Lima. He knows they have a ton of evidence against him so the best he can do for himself is to cop to a story in which he accidentally killed her in a fit of rage rather than telling the real truth.
He didn’t kill her for looking at his laptop. That’s his cover story now. Those circumstances carry a much lighter sentence than murder during robbery or murder for pleasure.
Hopefully, after he's done his 6 years there he'll then get 20 years in the US for the extortion charge.
I’m not getting why you folks are buying his story. First, it makes no sense. Second, what he says happened carries a much, much chorter sentence than murder for robbery or pleasure do. The victim was robbed of quite a bit of money and her jewelry. Her father is also now saying her bank account was accessed while she was with Joran. What Joran says happened carries 6-20 years. What the evidence indicates carries 25-35. The Peruvian authorities have a ton of evidence against him. He had to confess to something to get his version out there to avoid letting the evidence dictate the truth.
Saw Greta on FNC last evening before her own show.
She told O’R that a couple of weeks ago the FBI had a chance to arrest Vander-killer for wiretap extortion and they let him go. O’R promised to get more information on why he let free.
If this is true someone has blood on their hands as this girl could have been saved if he’d been arrested.
I wonder if his attorney, Tacopina (sp?) got him off.
Have you been reading or hearing about the total corruption of the census process.
Hiring and firing the same people over and over so they can get the job count up.
The level of corruption is unprecedented.
If the shoe doesn’t fit you, why are up so up in arms?
He confessed to the murder of Stephany in order to get a much lighter sentence. His version only gets him 6-20. The truth gets him 25-35. Hopefully Peru can break his story. They have so much evidence they don’t even need a confession, but of course it helps a lot, even though he’s lying about the motive and circumstances. They should be able to prove the truth.
