OK, met with head of school and head of lower school, the police, and talked with CPS.
1. The jihadi girl’s family have agreed to withdraw her (and her brothers from school), as of today. The school was more than a little concerned.
2. My wife (doctor, albeit a junior one), went and talked with the head of the hospital about this guy. He was interested, but non-commital.
3. Police were useless. They took a statement, acted bored. Talked to a supervisor. City policy is to not involve in children disputes unless a weapon is used or there is injury (neither occurred).
4. CPS was more useful. (Thanks to all the tips in this regard.) I suggested that they might have a violent home for her to know this. They won’t say what they intend to do, but a file was opened, and she seemed pretty concerned.
5. The other family completely crumbled. They didn’t want to be involved. Last I saw, the father was yelling at the mother for blabbing.
6. I talked with several people whom I know use this doctor. (He is a very good doctor.) I strongly expect he will lose business.
7. I asked for an apology from the family (through the school), and this was apparently denied. The doctor is playing it off like I am a hysterical Joooo (as I presumed he would) and a prick for chasing his little darling off from the school. I am not going to push that issue.
So that’s it, so far.
We are now going to eat pizza and drink wine.
And, he’s from “Palestine,” not Jordan.
Arab Israeli Passport.
Irony, no?
A good days’ work, Jewbacca. Don’t be disappointed about item 3 on your list. You got it documented in their records, and that’s what counts with them. Also, the kid’s out of your child’s school, and that was the most important thing.
Go enjoy your well-earned pizza & beverages.
Well done.
The other girl’s father obviously suffers from an extreme case of cranial inversion. Congratulations on what you did. All the best and give your little girl a hug for me.
No matter how "effective" your actions turn out to be, you did the right thing.
Make sure he looses so much business than he takes his jihadi family back to "Palestine".
Re: your points
#1 Glad to see the school got JihadiGirl’s parents to take her and her brothers out. Hopefully they live far enough away that they won’t be a problem in future.
#2 Good on going to Dr’s work; now his boss knows!
#3 At least the cops know about it now; thats a start.
#4 Good on telling the CPS, this is one of the times that they should know about whats going on.
#5 Other family caving... (sigh) sorry to hear that happened. Dad sounds like a wimp for not standing up for his little girl & working with you on it..
(had the threat been done to me when I was your daughter’s age, my dad woulda been over to the Dr’s house in a heartbeat and in his face :0 )
#6 Good on talking with Dr’s ‘customers’; hit Dr. in pocketbook.
#7 Very telling that JihadiGirl’s folks wouldn’t apologize! Shows where they stand on this stuff :(
Good days work.
I saw your original post this morning and, like the others, hoped you would act on this. I’m glad you did. Thanks for the update, and good on you for taking action!
Have you contacted Fox News et al. yet?
Thank you for taking action! I hope everything goes well for your family.
Sounds like you had a pretty successful day. Thanks for the update.
Good. Very good. This action alone should haunt them for years.
