What had been shaping up as a nasty divorce now appears to be headed for a nasty probate fight.
Iconic actor Dennis Hopper, who died Saturday after a long bout with cancer, had been seeking to divorce his wife of 14 years, Victoria Duffy. Now, say reports, she plans to battle for a hefty share of his riches.
TMZ reports the couple's prenuptial agreement grants Duffy a bequest only if the couple was married and living together at the time of his death. She plans to argue that even though they lived in separate houses at the time of his death, they were "living together" because her house was on his property.....

I just LOVE people like this (using the term “people” loosely). Dennis isn’t even cold yet. His funeral hasn’t even been held, and this — okay, words fail me to describe this individual — is already trying to pull the gold rings off his fingers and the gold fillings from his teeth. Please, if there is any justice left in this nation, in THAT state, throw THAT — INDIVIDUAL — out on her keester in the middle of the street with just the clothes on her back.
RIP Dennis — you’re getting the better end of the deal if you made it to glory JUST by leaving HER behind!
She was so evil, that Hopper had to get a restraining order against her from his deathbed. :(
The bedwarmer did NOTHING to create the money. It needs to go to his kids.

Probate, divorce and anything to do with the family: legal areas that are rarely boring and are many times very destructive and costly.
Yikes she looks like a man eater. These old hollywood guys should get a clue.
She was fighting for money before he died, even during the last weeks while he was so ill. What a leach.

But she and their daughter will get the bulk of his estate. Be careful who you marry and have children by.
