One of my favorite actors. What a career. He stole the movie in Hoosiers. As bad as Speed was, he made it. Hell, he was in True Grit. Just a great actor.

Hopper is best known for starring in the 1969 classic "Easy Rider." Says who?

Dang.
My old man got to know Dennis a bit. Hopper was in town shooting a movie and hung out in my Dad's beer joint. Him and Charles Bronson and Viggo Mortensen and [ugh] Sean Penn.
They even gave my Dad a bit part. He's listed in the credits. :-)
Anyway, the old man spoke highly of Dennis Hopper. God rest his soul, and prayers go up for his family and friends.

God Bless and RIP Dennis.
My favorite performance by him was in "Hoosiers". Great movie anyway. He'll be missed.

I just read in the comment section that his estranged wife made a comment that he was not as sick as he appeared to be.....
It is too bad that in his last days he still had to be in battle with the wife...
He was one of my favorites.......RIP
