Bizarre new "Montauk monster" shows up in small Canadian town!

A bizarre creature with a long hairy body with bald skin on its head, feet and face showed up in a small Canadian town, according to media reports.
It was discovered by two nurses in the town of Kitchenuhmaykoosib in Ontario, Canada, while they were out on a walk with their dog. The two took some photographs of the dead animal pulled out by their dog from a lake, then they left it alone.
When locals went back to retrieve the body, it was gone.
The photos taken by the nurses have now been posted on a local website and then have triggered mass speculation about what kind of species the animal is.
Many people have suggested the animal could be a new "Montauk monster" - due to the similarities between these photographs and those of a different creature which washed up in Montauk, New York, in 2008.

Otter ears aren’t pointed or that big, at least not in the photos I’ve seen. If that’s a fang in the lower jaw in the first photo, it might be a boar with a collapsed muzzle, although the nose doesn’t look right. Where’s a zoologist when you need one?

It looks pretty bloated, that can be deceptive. If it was any kind of pig it would have hooves. It's a carnivore for sure.
I suspect the story is more valuable because of the mystery involved.
