Hawaii is hip again. First we saw the resurgence of tiki lounges, enabling a whole new generation to sip colorful cocktails surrounded by wood-carved décor. And now the trend is coming to a TV near you thanks to CBS' remake of the classic island detective series "Hawaii Five-O."

Charlie's Angels WAS a remake of the Mod Squad. Several episodes of Angels simply took the scripts from old Mod Squad episodes and changed the character names from Link, Julie, and the other guy to Sabrina, Jill, and Kelly.
Look at that photo. It looks like Hawaii Gay-O. I’m guessing the girl is the only one who’s straight.

I’m sick of them too though. There have been way too many. Overuse of the genre.
You know Law and Order (original flavor) is getting the ax one year short of Gunsmoke’s record. But they are making an new one, Law and Order: Los Angeles, for some reason.
