Nicolas Cage, the Hollywood actor, has revealed an unusual diet in which he eats meat only from animals that mate in a “dignified” way.
The 46-year-old, whose most recent role is a drug-addled policeman in Bad Lieutenant, said he doesn’t eat because he does not like the way they have sex.
A report in The Sun said Cage, who won an Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas, ate fish and fowl.
He told the newspaper: "I love all animals. I have a fascination with fish, birds, whales - sentient life - insects, reptiles.
"I actually choose the way I eat according to the way animals have sex. I think fish are very dignified with sex. So are birds.
"But pigs, not so much. So I don't eat pig meat or things like that. I eat fish and fowl."
Cage, who lives in New Orleans, where Bad Lieutenant is set, has a reputation for eccentric behaviour and once owned a pet octopus.

Your post has me laughing. We have lots of wild turkeys around here. After watching them mate over the years, I know where the term “jump their bones” comes from. The hen will lie belly down, the tom stands on top of her and stomps on her to make her receptive.......avian version of “foreplay”.
Didn't he marry Lisa Marie partly because he was such a big Elvis fan? Was that before or after Jacko?

Clearly, he has never watched chickens. My hens peck at the rooster until they make a bloody spot. And he just lets them.( Must be how the term "hen-pecked husband came about") He puts on all kinds of dances and shows, which they totally ignore. Then, he has to chase them all over the yard to get at them. Dignified, it isn't !
Pretty crappy? That was one of the worst movies ever. Another Redbox special.....
He makes millions per movie and is always spending his way back to broke.
There must be something in the water in Hollywood that makes these people so insane.
