Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor was arrested early Thursday after being accused of raping a 15-year-old girl at a Montebello, N.Y., hotel, police said.
Taylor, who has a history of drug abuse and runs-in with the law, is being charged with third-degree rape, which involves having intercourse with a minor, authorities said.

Was it “Rape Rape”?
I have heard it many times. Sports builds character. Maybe high paying sports enables characters.....
I have no idea who this is..(thank goodness), but if he’s guilty...hang him.
“A 10-time Pro Bowler, he was the NFL Most Valuable Player in 1986 and the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1981, 1982 and 1986. He recorded 132.5 sacks, which doesn’t included the 9.5 sacks in 1981 when the statistic wasn’t official.”
Altho he put up great stats, one stat he should have avoided is 15.
Wow, the all time NYG sack king rapes 15 year old children? Man, this is going to make Rothlesberger look like an angel.
Before you’re quick to judge the cokehead, just remember that these days, there are a lot of young women that take great pleasure in shaking down famous people. But yeah, this doesn’t sound like something that’s uncharacteristic of a violent drug abuser like LT.
An upstanding member of the community and a man with sterling character.
I find this incomprehensible...
LT was one hell of a linebacker, but he is a certifiable lunatic.
15 will get you 20.
Oh my...he really messed up this time.
I get a chuckle out of the ‘performance enhancing drugs’ soap operas in the present day when the NFL in the late 80s and all through the 90s was in an absolute blizzard of cocaine.
Some girls are like that, you have a point. We’ll have to see how this unfolds...
Drugs will do that to ya, IMHO. I have no proof, just speculating.
say’s “with a minor”. Would be “statutory, rape”. NO FORCE

Hell of a linebacker on steroids, you mean.
It’s not called the National Felon’s League for nothing.
Sports figures are no longer someone your children should aspire to be.
Side note... anyone else think there is something really out of whack when people like Lawrence Taylor and Pamela Anderson are given praise for their dancing on “Dancing With Stars,” but are up for income tax evasion?
