"I felt it was a defect," she said. As a teenager, "It was a central obsession in my self-hatred. ... I felt like it was all anyone saw when they looked at me."
At 14, she asked her parents for surgery. A few years later, after she graduated from high school, Weiss got her wish -- rhinoplasty reduced the bump on her nose and pared down the tip.
Despite her new petite nose, Weiss began to regret her adolescent decision as she matured.

Sabrina Weiss says she was self-conscious about her nose as a teenager.
Weiss, now 31, is a social worker and says she now regrets changing her natural features.
Why do you bob your nose, girls, it does not look so nice,
If it s just to keep in fashion, its not the Lords advice.
Well, you mangle Mother Nature and brave the Lords command
You care about your nose, girls, and reach the Glory Land.
Why do you bob your nose, girls, its not the thing to do,
Run with that nose and some day the Lord may say to you:
You naughty little booger, you honky tonkin hose
But at least Im glad for one thing: yousll never bob your nose.

Very pretty both ways.... but it just goes to show that a lot of the motivation for a lot of cosmetic procedures has to do more with mental issues than physical ones.
Maybe she should have had her friends pick her new nose for her...
There goes the Bas Mitzavh gift!
IMO, Jennifer Gray's nose job ended her acting career.
Her roles previous to her elective cosmetic surgery were her resume, and when she changed her appearance that resume no longer applied, since she was not recognizable.
IMO her original nose gave her face character and nobility.
She looked better with her OEM nose. Most people do.
First she obsesses about her nose. Now she obsesses about her decision to fix it. Girl, move on with your life. It is not a big deal. Your nose looks better. Don’t waste any more money on unnecessary plastic surgery but also don’t waste any more time fretting over it.
At least she didn’t go for the “Tori Spelling” nose.
Spelling = Worst.Nosejob.Ever.
She had a nose like Jimmy Durante....
Don't know whatever happened to her...She was a great girl.
She said in an interview that changing her nose was a big regret.
Michael Jackson.
That was exactly my thought. She's pretty either way and the problem is in her head, not on her head.
I agree. Now if we could just get these young women to stop messing with their breasts. Small ones look great on a young lady. Natural beauty is what its all about.
agreed
Jennifer Greys nose was part of her character. she was cast in the every day girl type of roles. believable features i guess you would say
afterwards yeah she looks pretty but much more of a common pretty that other actresses had already cornered the market on
I think she had an Ann Coulter looking nose before the surgery. She looked fine without the surgery. I can just imagine how this gal will freak when the real wrinkles and sagging starts. LOL
