I got my dog indirectly through Craigslist. One of the local county humane societies had a special on hunting dogs that they advertised through craigslist.
I really should get a refund because he’s broken. He’ll point everything except any game animals.
Serves me right I guess for getting a dog through craigslist.

Get your dog from a shelter or a reputable breeder.

Right off the top I would want to check out the buyer or a seller. That way I wouldn't buy a dog that had been beaten and wouldn't sell a dog to be beaten.

Personally, I wouldn’t buy anything from Craigslist or from Ebay for that matter. You never know what you’re going to get (or in some cases whether you will get anything close to what was advertised).

Ebay and Craigslist have brought forth a lot of great, great deals. Ebay used to be much better before Whitman messed it up though.

That would be fine. When I got my last Jack Russell I took my other dog with me and went to the family's home and checked him out and they got a look at me and my dog. Then I gave them a few days to think about it before going to get the dog. I've also sent them pictures of the dog since coming here.
I guess I look at it kind of like adoption. Most of my dogs came from rescue associations and they always came to check out the environment before giving me the dog.

Nothing thrills a pit bull like the crunchy sound of a toddler’s throat.

Last year, a friend purchased concert tickets on Ebay. Received tickets that were phony. And the seller mysteriously disappeared.

She went to a man that happened to live only 30 minutes from me. We all got to meet and size each other up before he got her. Worked out good for us.
Of course, being a moron, what do I know.

At least you admit it and that’s a start.
