Anyone know if DirecTV is picking up RightNetwork when it debuts this Summer?
A show I'm too embarrased to admit watching

During a commercial break of a show I was watching tonight, I flipped to a channel, (to a show I refuse to name) and heard of 'RightNetwork', a new right leaning channel that will make it's debut this summer(?), a leading proponent of the channel is Kelsey Grammar.
For now, I gather, that it is going to start as an On Demand network, (Not really sure what that means). But from the promo I saw, it looks like a network for me.
Anyone in the know?

I've had DirecTV after marring my husband. When we met, I just had a TV with the local channels. That suited me fine and I did not feel that I needed a change. Now, I feel that I pay and pay for what I use to go for free.

I remember the days of basic broadcast with two UHF channels.
I eventually got cable, and I liked it. But then I moved to a place where I was back to those 5 channels in a market with even more provincial station programmers...I began reading a lot more. The last decade or so, I’ve had DirecTV. Don’t go in for any of the Sports packages, rarely even watch any pay per view, never buy any of the Special events, but did opt for the expanded variety channels.
I could not go back to just terrestrial TV...I’d eat Ramen 3 times a day, 5 days a week, rather than go back to just the 5 in my area..

Since Comcast is essentially helping to launch this channel, I think initially it will only be on Comcast cable systems nationwide.

Seems like a cool idea, but then again I said the same thing about TV Land when it launched. Now TV Land is just like every other channel on the dial, showing more and more modern shows that got overexposed everywhere else.

On Demand isn't part of regular programing, but an added feature provided, at cost, by Com Cast.
Think of it as stored re-runs and movies.
