No, I din not get premium movies or special documentaries but I got a few movies and the “news”.
I remember the days of basic broadcast with two UHF channels.
I eventually got cable, and I liked it. But then I moved to a place where I was back to those 5 channels in a market with even more provincial station programmers...I began reading a lot more. The last decade or so, I’ve had DirecTV. Don’t go in for any of the Sports packages, rarely even watch any pay per view, never buy any of the Special events, but did opt for the expanded variety channels.
I could not go back to just terrestrial TV...I’d eat Ramen 3 times a day, 5 days a week, rather than go back to just the 5 in my area..
That is how I felt after getting married .
How bad did you mar your husband?:)
I would love to change to DishNetwork..right now we pay 105 bucks a month for Time Warner Cable, we have one digital box, doesn’t have much, in fact, if you were to see the channels we have, you would laugh, we hardly have anything..so the TV is 79.99 plus its 35 bucks for the Internet but it comes in a package deal so it makes it a little bit cheaper..if it weren’t for the internet, we would leave, but we haven’t been able to find any provider that has high speed internet in my area(All we have is DSL which we dont want) so that is the deal breaker unfortunately
