In October of this year, one month prior to the November midterm elections, a special army unit known as 'Consequence Management Response Force' will be ready for deployment on American soil if so ordered by the President.
The special force, which is the new name being given to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, has been training at Fort Stewart, Georgia and is composed of 80,000 troops.

80,000 troops. 80,000,000 freedom-loving Americans.
I guarantee you that at least half of those 80k soldiers would say screw this and leave. No American soldier would take arms against his brethren- unless the 80k were hand picked by Obama himself.
To Obama DemonRATSthe Consitution and Charmin are interchangable, both are just peices of paper.

Mechanized forces tend to get “stuck” in such environments, which neutralizes their impact.
Probably. Grey has the arms and ammo.
There would be much internal fighting, such that, they would fail as a coherent military, if anything. Officers will refuse to give the orders and the troops will go with the officers.
The difference in our military and say, China, is the gov’t in China treats the military better than the citizens; the liberal regimes in the USA despise the military even more than the citizenry. That fact has never been lost on the military and they received a pay “raise” this year that matches the early 1970’s.
I don’t think most of them will shoot at peaceful citizens. Now if those citizens are throwing rocks, overturning cars, and lighting dumpsters on fire, that changes things.
Even the Russian Military finally refused to act on peaceful protestors, when Yeltsin stood up and demanded that Gorby be returned.
We live in interesting times. I pray that our country successfully returns to its roots by a peaceful election and change of power.
Remember what happened to the Bonus Army?
There’s your answer.
You're fooling yourself, my FRiend.
Pure fantasy.
Considering 80,000 is about 12 times the size of a large brigade, I tend to think this is BS.
I dunno , I dont think so - of course we’re talking doomsday scenarios and all the particulars are completely hypothetical .
I am a retired Major. I have many family and friends still serving. I interact with active duty personel regularly, and its my opinion that if they are given orders by this president to put the military between civilians and this administration in a scenario where the civilians are standing up for what they percieve to be Constitutional crimes - lets just say - Obama wants a Civilaian Security Force as well equipped and as well funded as the military for a reason.
How many AFVs? How many attack helicopters and A-10s? How many MANPADS and RPGs?
Watch the “War Porn” by weaselzipper and see what happens to irregulars when they run into the US Armed Forces. Before we start anything make sure they’re on our side...
Will this be in addition to the 20,000 new IRS agents who were issued shotguns?
~~~
The whole bunch mite be able to keep order in a few of the
larger cities in the north and some of the west coast,,,
IIRC it took near 20,000 troops and LEO’s days to restore
order during the “King” riot in L.A.,,,
They just don’t have the numbers to control this country...
Those guys are only making targets of themselves. Do they think that the Army is stupid? These guys, along with the Oathkeepers, will “disappear” the night before the Clampdown comes.
Some gun show vendors are traveling deals that hit all the shows throughout their entire region. The wholesaler's address you have may be nowhere near there.
But when the time comes for them to turn around and shoot the Lieutenant in the face -- which is what mutiny always comes down to -- they won't do it. They are too well trained.
As far as the men are concerned, in the end, a legal order is whatever the Chain of Command says it is. If the Army is going to save the Republic -- and the Army is the only entity that can -- it isn't going to be a bottom-up affair. It is going to take a conspiracy of flag-rank officers, Seven Days In May style. God help us all if it ever comes down to that.
