The article refers to Mr. Winters as potentially Liz's ninth husband. While it is true that this would be her ninth wedding, two of them were to Richard Burton.
Grover Cleveland was our 22nd and 24th President, at least according to the consensus of Presidential historians. Was Richard Burton the fifth and sixth husband of Elizabeth Taylor?

“I never did like her anyway,”
I never cared for her either. She certainly was a looker back in the day and a good child actress. She got very over dramatic and hammy as she got older. I wish them luck. Jason Winters is going to need it!

Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Very well said and I agree with the complete sentiment.
God Bless Her and Good Luck!

I saw some tabloid headline that insisted Liz had mere weeks to live.

They’ve been saying that about her for a long time. Of course, the real love of her life was Mike Todd. He’s the one she probably wants to join in the afterlife.

Possibly, although he was quite a bit older, so who knows how old he would’ve lived until. Their marriage was probably somewhat similar to the two she had with Richard Burton. She was so distraught over Todd’s death that she obliterated the marriage of their friends Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. Todd was a very different personality from Fisher, a very aggressive type, a go-getter, a showman. He liked to get rough with Liz, and she apparently enjoyed it. When she discovered Fisher was essentially the antithesis, she didn’t like that, and tried to get him to act more like Mike. It didn’t work, and she went on to Burton, who was more to her liking.

It didnt work, and she went on to Burton, who was more to her liking. I've always wondered if the reason Virginia Wolf worked so well was due to the nature of their own relationship.

Perhaps. I got a kick out of the fact when they ran the film at one of our downtown theaters, Nashville Vice raided the theater and arrested the manager for showing an obscene/pornographic film. This was in '66. Less than a decade or so later, only a few blocks away, we'd have peep show parlors popping up...
