If he wins, I swear I will NEVER watch the show again. I’m already bored except for Bowersox. She’s, IMO, the saving grace this year. Well, her, and next weeks mentor...I know many don’t like him, but I’ve been following Adam’s tour on line and am really looking forward to his performance next week. I’ve been spoiled by his talent...the show will always pale in comparison.

Shibboleth is also worth watching — you never know what she is going to do and she has some pipes.
But Crystal is in a class by herself. If she doesn’t win it means America just can’t evaluate talent.

“Shibboleth” is good, kinda quirky, good vocals, but she has a ‘breathy’ sound to her voice sometimes that I don’t like. I’m picky about stuff like that...I hate the vibrato in Casey’s voice...sooo uncontrolled. I say the same thing...if Crystal doesn’t win it means American just can’t evaluate talent. Unfortunately, if she doesn’t win, it could mean that people aren’t calling in enough....all the calls are probably piling in by the tweenieboppers for those young boys.

I completely agree with you about Lambert. This season is SO dull in comparison. There is nobody even close. But, sorry...can’t stand Bowersox. Talk about a rut! She sounds exactly the same no matter what song she sings. UGH.

It will be interesting to see how he chooses to perform and if he’ll have his band with him...they’re all very talented musicians. Certainly they will have to tame him down from the AMA performance, but I do enjoy the theatrical side of his shtick and IMO he’s one of those special performers who sound even better live than recorded. Have you seen this.....Some are saying that Burton missed an awesome opportunity to include this song in the Alice in Wonderland movie...so someone put the song Rabbit Hole to the clip...

Mike is certainly a good singer and better than a lot of those guys. He’s a tad full of himself but even he doesn’t go on about his baby — the producers rammed the baby into our face.
I think it’s OK that they used the save on him. But it means that even Chrystal can suddenly go home.
One of my sons who is perversely voting for TUrban each week like crazy (a la Vote for the Worst) thought this was a strategy destined to wipe TUrban off the show. He could be right.
I am an Adam Lambert fan. There; I said it. I don’t care who he sleeps with, though I HATED his blatant “in your face” public displays on an awards show where the Grandmas and kiddies who voted for him on Idol had to see.
Still, what will the songbook be next week??? Glam rock?? Big Mike was saved so he can sing “I’m A Sweet Transvestite” from Rocky Horror Picture Show?!?
that was my thought this morning...their beloved Crystal could get sacked way before she makes the final shows...or Lee could go or Casey...before they needed too...
