Thank you, my friend :)
Now get rid of Ellen :)
And Kara!
That would be AWESOME.
Great article, thanks!
Another season has come and gone. Whole I stopped watching the show when Ellen joined, it was still fun to read the thread. :)
Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into the thread each year.
I see that Hell’s Kitchen starts up tonight! :)
I see that Hells Kitchen starts up tonight! :)
LOL, well if anyone wants to chat about HK we have plenty of room left in this thread ;)
Hi
I kinda like Hell’s Kitchen, looks like a lot of characters on this year
Ugh. Sounds like we’re in for some “lectures” Bowersox-style.
Bye-bye my high hopes for Crystal’s sweet, soft side.
Hello “hopey changey”...
<><><>
“Bowersox seemingly delighted in making it clear to me that she was “a fighter,” someone hell-bent on forging her own career path her own songs, her own sound, her own way ...”
“I’d like to do the songs that I’ve been doing for years. ... I’m not opposed to working with other writers and producers, but my goal is to put out an album I really enjoy,” she said. “I’m aware of it, I’m a fighter, I’m a passionate person, I believe in certain things very strongly and I don’t go down easy...
“Oh, and she maintained that, despite what her “Idol” handlers might say, she plans to speak out against things that she deems are unjust. Because she wants to use her fame to bring about change.”

I still refuse to listen to her leftist songs, but am realizing that her activism will probably permeate her albums, which is likely why Simon et al went luke warm toward the end. He knew she’d end up alienating half the country.
Lee DeWyze may very well hold the same beliefs as Crystal, but at least he’s smart enough to smile, say ‘thank you’, and just ‘shut up and sing.’
Do you think the right one went home last night? I think Fran should have gone.
I thought Fran should have gone, guess it’ll take a couple of weeks to see who I like
Oh, and she maintained that, despite what her Idol handlers might say, she plans to speak out against things that she deems are unjust. Because she wants to use her fame to bring about change.
Change what, Crystal? Aren't we turning socialist fast enough for you?
Let's see how hopey-changey she is when her first CD winds up in the bargain bin.
A memoir already? What’s he discuss...my first pimple?
Ugh. I hate artists that turn into activists. I barely find it acceptable when they have been singing and performing for 20 years, never mind two weeks. Good luck with that approach Crystal.
Yeah, I am glad Lee won. LOL
It cracks me up that she is talking about her “fame.” Yeah, ask Justin Guir-whatever, Katherine McPhee, and Bo Bice how their “fame” is working out for them.
Or even RJ Helton, Christina Christian, Ryan Star and AJ Gil how their fame is working out. They were all season one contestants in case, like the rest of society, anyone doesn’t recognize their names.
My thoughts exactly! The kid hasn’t lived long enough to have material for a memoir! Is he even out of his teens yet?
Hahaha!
I can't imagine this book being any longer than 50 pages. And that's if they use large print. Double-spaced.
He's the Ambassador of Gratitude dude, always thanking America and meaning it.
I didn't recognize them, LOL. I got to Ryan Star and thought that sounds familiar ... but only because there aren't many girls named Ryan. I honestly forgot the rest of them.
Even the Friends were chuckling over his memoir at age 19.
