I think he has a delightful personality...but I dont see him as a singer/winner of American Idol...I DO see him acting in Disney feature films, however.

After a gag-inducing video intro, Urban performs "All My Loving", playing guitar. Corny, hoaky, silly. Most of the other singers we've heard tonight are just in a different league.

Ellen: Second best performance after "Hallelujah". (liked it)

It depends on how you look at it. Compare what he just did to what Crystal did a few moments prior. It is like they are on different shows and Tim is auditioning for “Up With People.”
Bobby Sherman seems like a nice kid and all, but he should be doing some guy version of “Hanna Montana” (Stanna Montana?) — he just doesn’t have the chops or the personality to be trhe next American Idol.

No, I don’t think anyone is under any delusions that Tim is going to win, but he’s very likable. He definitely should go into TV.
