Tea Party will be here Sunday. Last year they were here and I got my picture taken with Jim Robinson!
LOL!
Gofer is being played by Ellen....
If you are going to wear glasses to make a fashion statement at least shoot for trendy. As my nephew would say “that’s just asking for a swirly”.
My mom was a huge Beatles fan and I grew up listening to the Beatles and The Beach Boys, so it makes me want to stab my eardrums when they butcher them that badly.
LOL.
I just really wish they would abandon the annual Beatles week...it’s getting waaaay old.
LMAO!!
What I find so damned annoying is...the Beatles wrote HUNDREDS of songs...and every damned year, we hear the same 10 or so....Good Grief

His song is "Can't Buy Me Love." He's playing guitar on the mini-stage behind the judges. Simon is the only judge that turns around to actually look at him.
Not a good song. It's too happy, too peppy.
Randy: Really solid peformance. Interesting arrangement. Corny at times. All in all, it was okay.
Ellen: First of all, you can buy love. Am I right, Simon? It was a lot of fun and I loved it.
Kara: I want to love it. But I don't know if I see anything new this week. Think you could have done more with your interpretation.
Simon: (compares it to a wedding peformance) You had the band behind you completely overpowering you. Made it old-fashioned. You and the band together got this all wrong tonight.
Your Purser Gopher and your Bartender, Isaac.
I have to say I have disagreed with Simon tonight more than I have in the past. I thought Kim Il Jong...errr..whatever his name is.. was awesome.
Yikes. That’s unfortunate, though not unexpected. In the words of Laura Ingraham: “Shut up and sing!”
I’m with conservativebabe. I heard the Beatles SOO much growing up ...to me the will always be overplayed and when they play a song on the radio, i can’t change the station fast enough.

Wouldn’t it be great if someone did “For the benefit of Mr. Kite” or, even better, “Helter Skelter?”
THAT would be a great performance, just for the song selection.
I totally agree. There should be a one season ban on all songs period. If someone sang it last season, it cannot be sung on the current season.
Totally agree. If I want to hear a Beatles song, I’ll listen to the Beatles.
Ban Beatles. And can we ban “Man in the Mirror”, too?!
ANy bets on Siobon singing “Eleanor Rigby”?
still dont have wireless yet
We'll have to start a "Wi-Fi for Apples" jar next :-D
