For me, it’s hard to listen to Beatles songs anyway but that was bad.

My mom was a huge Beatles fan and I grew up listening to the Beatles and The Beach Boys, so it makes me want to stab my eardrums when they butcher them that badly.

I just really wish they would abandon the annual Beatles week...it’s getting waaaay old.

I have to say I have disagreed with Simon tonight more than I have in the past. I thought Kim Il Jong...errr..whatever his name is.. was awesome.

I’m with conservativebabe. I heard the Beatles SOO much growing up ...to me the will always be overplayed and when they play a song on the radio, i can’t change the station fast enough.

I don’t really know what it is. I have no explanation other than they have the same effect on me as Lionel Ritchie, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, etc. I just cringe involuntarily.

I chose to miss the Ed Sullivan Beatles show. I didn’t walk up the street to the TV set. (Students mostly had no TV)

My son came along and turned into a Beatles encyclopedia, 20 years after the fact
