Here is video of Illinois Democrat Rep. Phil Hare saying the U.S. Constitution "is near and dear to me," just one day after having been caught on video saying he "doesn't worry about the Constitution," when asked where in the Constitution the Congress had the authority to pass ObamaCare.
Hare complained about the "gotcha journalism" of today, and said he had been "taken out of context."
Watch the video below (Via SharpElbows.net) of what Hare said, and it does not sound like he was taken out of context. It sounds like he is clearly saying he just wanted to pass ObamaCare to provide Government help to 32 million people and he really didn't care whether there was Constitutional authority to do it or not! He's now in full damage-control mode.

That authority is right next to the right to an abortion.
The libs can find anything they want in that "living document" of a constitution.
Right! Sure! NOT! The DemonRAT showed his true colors for a second. Now he’s back to lying.
Hoisted by his own petard. Love it.
He said what he meant and he meant what he said.
Now he is peeing backward.
Give him a pink slip in November.
Oh and note his left hand!
While he was rebutting himself it would have been nice if he had said where his fascist tendencies are supported in the Constitution he supports so much.
The off the record buzz I’ve heard from ‘sources’ is that the Dims are beginning to get worried about the constitutionality question of mandated health care purchase.
Too little too late, Phil.
In this case, the Patriot will win the race and the Hare will lose his cushy job in DC.
Yup, they are always taken out of context. That’s ALWAYS what it is.
He couldn’t pour pi$$ out of a boot with the instructions on the heel...Moron!!!
Only when he's in the bathroom.
If the mandated purchase is found to be unconstitutional, does that void the entire bill, or just those portions related to forced purchase?
Hare today; gone tomorrow.
And the pigs began to walk on their hind legs.
Separated at birth.
When there IS no context, EVERYTHING is out of context.
But alas, will get a very cushy pension (courtesy of us) for the rest of his days.
Parts his hair a little differently, but other than that... yea.
lol...a bit Roehmish, for sure.
