The background galaxies are hundreds of millions of light-years or more beyond NGC 602.

That's a long, long way.......You can't convince me that there isn't life out there somewhere. I just hope I live long enough till it's discovered.

Does anyone have more information on the “event” that will be or as been happening but will be at its “height” tomorrow, Easter Sunday - re: Mercury and Venus being close together?

Need to know what time will this “event” be best seen and where in the sky? ( I think I read to the WEST ).

I usually judge Vast distances by the distance Voyager had to travel from the Delta quadrant back home to the Alpha quadrant.
I think it was 70,000 light years.
At Warp 9 that was like 70 years of travel.
Half the distance across the Milky Way.

70 years at Warp 9, and thats only 70,000 ly.......

Big universe.
