The Bill is so volunimous I thought it would be helpful to share parts of the Bill different individuals have discovered.
What each of us know individually of the provisions can be shared to help us know more completely of this deliberately confusing Bill. You know, like the phone bill, they make it so confusing on purpose so you do not want to read it, just pay it.
Over 2000 pages in the “health care” bill.
If I came to your door selling a health insrance policy that was over 2000 pages long you laugh me off your property.
What do you know that’s in it?
Well, we’ve had half a dozen prominent democrats say the bill is all about income redistribution, but Barry says it isn’t so I believe him.

I know what the “health care” bill ia about. It is about destroying America’s status as an economic and military super power.

Okay, what is the pet provision in the Bill of the “correct spelling” patrol?
Yes, I have not read it either. If I can’t get some of the provisions here, I’m going to have to bite the bullet and read that mess.
Here’s what I observed in the Asheville, NC area
1. My neighbors’ Internal Medicine doc has a sign posted in his witing room: We no longer accept medicare and medicade patients
2. My own internal med. doc is thinking about going private. He has a large group of medicare patients, that would be me. He said last year, and he is the only doctor in his office, he saw 120 MORE patients and earned $8,000. less. That is only going to get worse.
3. Since I’ve been having my annual check ups after cancer surgery I’ve visited a lot of doctors and different offices. All the doctors are furious and frustrated even those doctors who voted for Obama.
4. The girls that check you out tell me they are just not getting any payments especially from the large companies that went with Obama like AARP, United Health Care which is Aarp, Secure Horizons, also part of AARP and one other? They tell me every payment is a fight.
I’m proud to say we refused to go with any AARP affiliate and have never been a member. It has been a dastardly blackmail on younger families who have real need.
The AARP showed their colors when they misportrayed Bush’s Social Security reform as a total privatization.

We did not need leftist Howard Dean to tell us the “Health Care” is a distribution of wealth. All leftist know what this is and they all will be openly saying this before it is over. They will be proudly saying, “Those with the greatest need deserve it all.”

I am looking for a good, clear explanation (kind of an elementary level) of why this health care bill is so horrible for America, so I can it explain it to some of my friends.

Granted, it was written in 2009, and so much has changed this past year, but it’s a good illustration using pizza.
Look past the “health care” bill to the goal of the left. if you understand what the goal of the left is, then you know why ALL they do is bad for America and the future of mankind. The “Health Care” Bill has as much to do with health as the “Climate” Bill has to do with the climate.
The left’s goal:
Destroy the economic and military superpower status of the United States of America, mankind’s last best hope for individual Liberty and Freedom. The “health care” bill is the major vehicle for the left to achieve their goal. Do not be drawn into a discussion about health care for the people with are evil enemies, that is not what this is about.
Mounting insurmountable, unsustainable debt is another way to destroy America’s superpower status and our idealogical enemy, Red China will be happy to lend money to aid in the destruction. It will be much less expensive and less messier than a war.
The United States saved mankind from total global tyrannical domination 3 times during the 20th century.
When the evil armies march again, and they always will and America is no longer an economic and military superpower, who will save Liberty and Freedom for mankind?
My internist is quitting, has a sign up that says IF Medicare is your only ins. you have to pay the rest up front or he won’t see you. It barely covers his overhead of 1 nurse, 1 NP and 1 receptionist, 1 record/billing person and his malpractice ins. My drugest says they don’t reimburse worth a spit.
We are retired Military have Tricare For Life, and are getting hit by what the gov’t calls a NEW MODEST fees...since when is nearly $7,000 a couple a MODEST fee? Oh, and our co-pays on meds are going up too. This is a DOD bill from a couple of years ago, which was delayed until 2011! Medicare and TFL are admined out of the same agency!
