I have seriously been thinking of leaving the country. My hope is pretty much gone that we can turn any of this around. Who would I be staying for....to support the people who ride in the cart and don't contribute and hate this country? I'm too old for all this and if the immigration bill goes through, I totally believe all is lost. How can we pay VAT, Tax and Trade, Healthcare, Local sales taxes, income taxes, etc., etc. and survive? So overused today, but it's "non-sustainable"
There ya go!!! I'm also a "They've got us surrounded, the poor bastards!" type of guy. If they want this country, they're going to have to pay for it.
First, I don’t have the $$ to leave here, and I’m not leaving either the little $$ I do have behind — much less all my family and friends,
Second, Ronald Reagan was right — America is the last, best hope for freedom — there’s nowhere left to go.
Third, I am no better than the Founders — if “the price of freedom is eternal vigilance” for Thomas Jefferson 235 years ago, then it is no less so for me today.
I will stay. I will stand. I will speak. If necessary I will die. I’m not going anywhere until liberty returns to this land.
my biggest worry is about money though....how to keep the little bit we have...
Yup. I was born here and I will die here. I must add that I will die fighting them, and not on my knees.

I’m not leaving. I’ll make THEM leave first.
Do you live there full time? And how is electricity free? How about internet? Sounds incredible!
I hear the Chirqui area around Boquette is beautiful and the coffee they grow there is amongst the best in the world. Real estate prices have gone through the roof lately though. Is that true?
I think Panama may be on the radar of many Americans very soon. The populace is used to having Americans around, english is spoken fairly widely, and they have a lot of foreign money moving there.
I would not be surprised to see a medical tourism industry spring up there, as well as a retirement industry for ex pat aAmericans
Yes.
Me? I’m going to day dream of a USA w/o liberals or anything else that is a threat to our conservative way of life. Reality is almost getting to be too much to suffer.
No. My family shed too much blood for this country for me to give up now. Surrender is not an option.
Yes, but not to Costa Rica or Panama.
Im with you im staying put
Nothing crazy about summering in the Russian federation
Social security goes a long way in places like Chelyabinsk,
the females fiendly and plentiful, and you don’t have to delude yourself that you’re living in a free country
...Thought about it for a year, Israel. They have the will to fight and die because they’re at the broken end of a bottle. I have no talent for war or killing, but I can do what I can, to help the healing and comfort of a nation that will not give in or give up the fight...
Then quit yapping about it and go away.
Doesn’t it make more sense to fire the people ruining America?
What’s the cost of living like there?
It it all get’s straightened after you’ve left, just do the right thing and don’t come back.
will they let me take my hunting rifle?
If not, I’m staying here.
