Nothing accomplished. We keep losing every battle. All indications are, with immigration “reform” and more than 50% of Americans (and climbing) dependent on government, our votes could be diluted to nothing by 2012 (assuming we have a real election), the way things are going.
B-Chan, a prolific and wise Freeper, is right. It’s going to take the system collapsing financially under the weight of its own absurdity for real change to happen because Obama is correct in his judgment: The vast majority of Americans will bend over and will not seriously fight bigger, fatter, dumber government, including so-called "conservatives."

The RX drug bill allows people to use their Medicare to buy PRIVATE health insurance to cover RX drugs. It was the 1st successful step towards privatizing a US Government Entitlement program in our history.
But as usual, you dogmatic purists were so busy screaming your chicken little dogmas you could not be bother to learn even the 1st facts about the program.

Remember this. Democrats can’t deliver what they promise. They can vote whatever they want, but they can’t overturn the laws of economics forever.
What will they do when more and more productive citizens simply decide it’s not worth the effort? What will they do when thousands of doctors decide it’s better to retire? Socialism only works so long as the givers of largess have productive people to feed off of.
I’m just one person, but my family already chooses to earn less than it could. We’ll do volunteer work for free (very rewarding stuff, btw) before we’ll take more pay and give the takers more.
Again, the Democrats cannot deliver the goods. We’ll either defeat them now, or we’ll defeat them later when they break the bank. When it collapses, who is going to be better off, the welfare moms who suckle on a broken government or the conservatives who already work hard and live right? We’ll do just fine—we’re survivors!
Never before in my life have I witnessed a government more out of touch with economic reality, and never before have I witnessed conservatives so fired up. Even if we’re in the minority (and I don’t think we are), we have the power to take government back. 90% of pissed off conservatives is better than 75% of half-hearted leftists, and we ARE PISSED OFF.
