Right now I’m reading a book called “The Black Swan,” which is about the inability of people to adequately assess highly improbable circumstances, luck, and unusual events that are outside of their daily experiences and biases.
The chapter I just read talked about the strange fact, which has apparently been measured in research, for experts to be worse predictors than those outside the area of expertise. The reason, according to the author, is that the experts overestimate their base of knowledge when making a prediction.
Interesting stuff.
The system is totally broken. Our government doesn’t even resemble anything that the Constitution says, at all.

There is not a single dem in either the house or senate that has any morals or ethics whatsoever, they are ALL sleaze.
At lease Judas got 30 pieces of silver. Stupak didn’t even get that and he’s as much a traitor.
No such thing as a pro-life Democrat. If you think about it, logic would say that if you belong to the party of abortion...you can’t really be pro-life.
And the other thing I learned is the Catholic church (not in general) but in specific areas “tolerates” abortion.

I learned something very interesting
People are fundamentally stupid.
Democrat after Democrat talk about how many people will die from not having health insurance, how many will go bankrupt, how many are losing insurance
right now!!
Yet, no one seems to notice that the benefits and coverage won’t start for years.
If things are so bad, then why not make everything start benefits the day it goes into law? Maybe, these congressmen are just doing what is politically expedient and not really caring at all about the common man.
That’s what i learned
It would take a huge shift in attitudes for the federal government to ever cut spending. Politicians at the federal level will do nearly anything to avoid it.
It’s important to win elections. There’s no way this happens if the Democrats don’t have huge majorities in both houses.
I wasted about 24 hours of my time and energy attending rallies in front of the Capitol. What a waste.
Deceit, treachery and the big lie are a winning strategy. Democrats play to win by any means in every arena. Republicans still don’t understand the enemy and want to play by the rules.
Never EVER trust a Democrat!
I learned that we do not have a representative republic.
