Per Fox, Obama is having a mandatory all House Dems meeting on Saturday. Clearly, this would not be happening if he had his 216 votes. So there.
The stakes are about to be raised to levels of pressure that the Democrats never imagined possible.
It's gonna be a jump ball with a fight on the way down.
These things usually don't work but on rare occasions.
Somebody on another thread gave this alternate hypothesis: they have the votes, they just need to argue among themselves which marginal Rep can avoid having to fall on his sword in order to pass it with the least damage in November.
They’re just getting their talking points together...no matter which way the vote goes.
When I think of those Dems now on the saddle, I keep being reminded of the character played by Robert Ullrich in “Lonesome Dove”.
He rode with cold-blooded murderers and although reluctant, did nothing to intervene in the killings, except some words “I did not sign up for this”.
At the end, he was hung along with those who committed murder.
Morale of story: You better not bet that you will not be found guilty if you did nothing to stop murder.
The Dem leadership is committing cold-blooded murder on Americans.
At what point - if ever - will the MSM call out Pelosi on her constant lies and failed deliverables?

They would not have discussions as to who gets a pass at the WH en masse. That sort of thing happens in Pelosi’s office.
Besides, BO doesn’t give two -—ts as to who gets pushed off the cliff. Its all about Him.
You would still have to watch out for the swinging baseball bat Capone style.
Jack Cafferty on CNN has a couple of times and he didn't mince words, calling Pelosi horrible and sleazy, and Obama a liar.
Their pay gets docked?
They get court-martialed for "failure to repair"?
They get put on double secret probation?
Obama won't campaign for them?
Most likely outcome: the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee will sponsor a primary challenger and will not give them any support in the general election.

If they stood against this crap sandwich of a bill and sided with overwhelming public sentiment against the bill, they wouldn’t need DNC cash - they would receive contributions hand over fist.
