I want to approach this delicately because it is a delicate issue. Throughout our discussions we commonly encounter individuals referring to their military service as a form of reference. I must admit that I have done this my self. The point is that there is no way to know if someone is stealing valor by claiming military service on this forum. I am willing to submit my DD -214 to Jim Robinson or his surrogates. My suggestion is that anyone having prior military service (validated by DD-214 gets a star or some such indicator by their screen name), and those people can reference their military service. I am not saying this because I want to brag, I just resent the idea of people using pretentious military service as a form of reference. If I am out of line on this I apologize and I will accept the rebuke graciously.
Now my day is truly worth living.
(By the way, I carry my DD214 in my wallet - always.)
The point is don’t over think it. To summarize: the proof is in the putting. The beans are in the field (I just invented that), the buns are in the oven, and such things.
Is a Humpback ribeye a function or a relation?
Good for you. You may be caught in the woods without any paper.
It is a satisfying meal.
Told you so.
LOL
I have my dog tages, suspended by ny father’s and uncle’s dog tags, held up by grandpa’s dog tag - which hold up my son’s dog tag. Small box - big statement.
So, NO, I won’t send my DD 214 to anyone unless required by law....
To be polite - If one can’t tell a poser without looking at some paper, well — nuff sed.
(No nack at you 70th, just used a reply to you for my post)
It is a piece of meat.
I agree.
Our user names provide us with a modicum of anonymity, should we seek it.
With psychotic liberals regularly threatening to “kill conservatives if they could get away with it” on *their* forums, I would rather be duped by a hundred frauds than risk the life of one legitimate service person.
Ban pit toes.
Hay Chuck, I don’t know where my dog tags are at this time, but I can tell you that my Iraqi Freedom ribbon is holing my phone-line, up over my doorway, or was that my War on Terrorism ribbon. The point is I don’t care. The point is that I care about real valor, the valor on the ground.
Trust me....no you don't.
Knowing what's on your mind provides so many opportunities for intervention and therapy.
And that's why I'll be keeping *some* things to myself....;]
Damn.
In your world, is that what passes for a “smack down”?
Pitiful.
[ad hominem is *so* liberalesque]
I just carry an 8” S&W Teflon coated dagger in my shoulder bag.
[oddly enough, no one ever asks to see it]
Salamander direct you asexual attacks toward one person at a time.
They can speak into my .50 microphone. Creatures much larger than myself have expired in the presence of my microphone. “With psychotic liberals regularly threatening to kill conservatives”
“Salamander direct you asexual attacks toward one person at a time.”
Not only do you get too unhinged under pressure to spell correctly, you make wonderfully bizarre accusations.
Exactly *what* about my post was “asexual”?
Would you have preferred I posted a “sexual” attack?....:)
[and until you start paying to run Jim’s servers, I’ll post to as many damn people as I ~want~]
Salamander, the asexual reference was merely a reference to yourself.
You guys gotta read post #116.
Analogy?
Metaphor?
Simile?
....or just *snapped*?
Don't be surprised if other Vets harsh on ya.
