Raquel Welch's bustier sets off alarms at O'Hare Airport after Oprah appearance

Raquel Welch’s black-satin bustier set off a metal detector last week at O’Hare Airport, and the actress had to undergo a patdown search.

“It was hilarious,” Welch’s publicist, Julie Nathanson, said today. “Every alarm in the hemisphere went off.”

Welch was once dubbed the “Most Desired Woman” of the 1970s by Playboy magazine. She’s known for her roles in movies including “Fantastic Voyage” and “One Million Years B.C.”

I live 15 minutes away from O'hare, I would have gladly come over to have helped with the patdown search (:D

Remember on "Seinfeld" when Kramer stole a Tony award? They let him keep it if he fired Raquel Welch. Was one of their best ones.

Hard to imagine that Raquel will be 70 in September. She and Sophia Loren were IMO the two most beautiful women from their era.

I haven’t seen that photo for a long time. I had a poster of this on my bedroom wall when I was a teenager.
