99% of all war movies are unrealistic, as you know. In terms of realism, The Hurt Locker was an improvement over any Duke Wayne film (in terms of realism), but that’s not saying much. I saw THL as an entertaining war film with some great writing, not a documentary.

I just went over to Suzy Amis’s discussion board on IMDb, everybody was expressing horror over her ghastly appearance. They were attacking Cameron for not getting his wife some help, the speculation is she is either suffering from severe anorexia to cancer (and wondering how long it’ll be until he dumps her for a newer model).
Sadly Sandra did not acknowledge HIS support. The only one she missed. I think that is sad.

He may have asked her not to, they had a conversation before she stood up to accept her award.
For that, Kirk Douglas should be applauded.
