I love a happy ending!
Wow! I love dogs and dog stories.
Great story.
There is nothing like a dog.
Is that a statue of St. Francis in the background?
I’m teary eyed.
Great story, thanks. Dogs are such noble and loyal creatures, they deserve to have good things happen to them. Glad you’re home, Haley.
Bet she doesn’t runaway any more.
Awwwww. Now thats wonderful!
I hope they don’t turn her in again. I’m glad for them but I hope they are able to keep her for good.
This is an extremely bizarre story for two reasons. First, that she’d be there at the same time they were looking for a dog. Second that the agency would adopt her back to the family that gave her up the first time.
What a good story. This is why I love dogs so much. You leave a person for three years, and the person is going to be furious. You leave a dog, and instead of anger, the dog is happy to see you. Dogs are truly wonderful, loyal, loving creatures.
I sometimes think of dogs having rational thought processes and imagining what the dog is thinking. In this case I can imagine the dog thinking he is lost on a big adventure with the one thing on his mind of trying to get back to his owner and then finally succeeding.
Great story.
Need a tissue here to wipe the tears from my eyes...
DAD! DAD! I’M right here!
Dogs do bond with their people. That’s one reason why I hate to see them dumped, they grieve. Hope these folks have stabilized enough not to do it again.
