;o)
I must leave this fun company and get to the store.
Well, if I had anything to say about it, she would be out on her bum, but, you have to consider the district she represents. Her San Fransisco constituents are the weirdest, leftist, most America-hating, bunch of misfits and reprobates on the face of the earth. It will truly be a miracle if she is not re-elected.
But I am thinking it would almost be worse for her if she were re-elected and she had to take a back seat to a Republican Majority Leader and a Republican Speaker of the House. It will be such a pleasure to see her dethroned and powerless.
Are you and tiapam still planning to go to the Showdown in Searchlight? I am so sorry that I won't be able to meet you both there. :-(
Meg, that is sooo pretty! I am enjoying all the yorkie photos today. :-)
What a cute opening! Thanks, you two. :-)
Has your town calmed down since the big NASCAR weekend? I was too busy to catch it on TV, but I think JK watched it.
No, Lori, we won't be going. We made the decision last night. There are several reasons we won't be going, but I guess the main reason is that neither one of us wants to board our 'furry kids' after receiving news from the vet that they are both declining so rapidly. We may go to the one in Phoenix, and take them with us - we'll have to see how they are doing in a couple days.
I am so sorry we will miss it, and miss meeting up with our FReeper friends.
My heart goes out to you both. I know what you are dealing with. It's so hard to see them in decline. Consider yourselves hugged. :-(

Oh, my. Kleenex time again. Thank you both - we are trying not to be sad - but to just keep going on as if everything is just as it always has been for both of them.
I feel the hugs, Amy and Lori - and thank you bunches!
Thank you Billie. I keep trying to ‘think and act’ normal, but it is heavy in the back of my mind. Lindy and d’Ogee have been together almost every day since they were born. They used to see their brother every day, too, but he moved to CO. They miss him bunches! (He’s not doing too well, either.)
(((HUGS)))
You are most welcome.
The baby’s here! 7 lb.14 oz. 19 inches long and so pretty! (Now you knew I would say that, didn’t you?) Nikki made no progress all night and no progress this morning up until about 2:30 she dilated from a 4 to a 10 in a matter of minutes and I just about didn’t make it out there! I had just talked to my DIL and we were all betting on what time it would get here and I had said 7:00. She said someone had chosen that time so I said 10 till 7! LOL!
We all got to hold the baby and they made a lot of pictures and I may get some soon. (I forgot my camera, I got in such a hurry.) I have some phone calls to make and will try to check the thread out either this evening or tomorrow. Now, I am a GeeGee!
Whew~~~I am tired and plan to rest some after my phone calls.
Dear FRiends at Amy’s Place,
Update on the mission to Uganda: my second cousin Sydney arrived safely, after going to London, being diverted to Amsterdam due to the British Airways strike, and then on to Uganda. They stayed in a nice hotel in the city they landed in, and then were bussed to the mission. So far, so good.

Sad news on our farm, as our dog Bailey, who was diagnosed with dialated cardiomyopathy October 30th, passed away on Monday. His team of vets, led by his very own cardiologist, did wonders for him and he had a spunky 4 months and just this month began to not respond as well to the medications.
We rescued him when he was one year old, and we are in the process of finding another rescue doberman, since we have a vacancy. We like to have 2 dobermans, an heir and a spare.
I wonder if you all could help me pick out a name for a male doberman. The one we are most interested in has a strange and girlish name. He is young and won’t mind if we give him a manly name, should we be able to adopt him.
We have already had dobermans with the following names: Hans,Forrest,Bailey and Bart who is 4 and will be getting a new doberman brother as soon as we can arrange an adoption.
Thanks, TCP

Rats! I just talked about it, didn't I? LOL
Hopefully, that means that your back is doing better!
Aw, thanks, Lori - it’s good to see you today!
