Sassy loves to eat cabbage leaves just to munch on. I guess I should make the soup & eat more cabbage. Tell us how your kid ate the cabbage. ;^P

I hate to be such a stickler, but our mortality rate is 100%. Always has been, always will be. Not yet!

I dearly love cabbage but even I couldn’t eat 1/2 head a day.

I invented Mexican Cole Slaw.
Peel and shred with food processor:
Red Cabbage
Red Onion
Garlic
Jalapeno pepper
Cilantro
Add mayo, mustard, or Ranch Dressing, some spices, lime juice.
Mine is kinda like eating picante sauce straight out of the bottle. Love that stuff.

Yes cabbage is on the list my dr. gave me for dad. However, if you eat the same amount daily, the dosage can be adjusted to what is needed to keep you in range.

For a long time, I’ve been saying that if I had to choose just one vegetable to eat all the time, it would be cabbage. You can do more with that great vegetable than any other. Aside from cold as in slaw, or in soups, you can cream it, stuff it, saute it (with bacon? YUM!), cooked in corned beef water, gratins, — I could go on and on. Best vegetable in the market and deserving of more respect.

My dad use to call brussel sprouts (Rich man's cabbage). A very interesting plant for the garden...grows weird, and you pluck off the bottom sprouts and leave the plant in the ground and it continues to make sprouts, can eat off it until the frost kills it...Cabbage soup is the best, next to polish stuffed cabbage, my mother in law taught me how to make go woop keys...(phonic spelling can't spell it right..)

Between this and your hot dog post, darn it I am getting hungry..stop it. I hate cooking...
