My dad use to call brussel sprouts (Rich man's cabbage). A very interesting plant for the garden...grows weird, and you pluck off the bottom sprouts and leave the plant in the ground and it continues to make sprouts, can eat off it until the frost kills it...Cabbage soup is the best, next to polish stuffed cabbage, my mother in law taught me how to make go woop keys...(phonic spelling can't spell it right..)
