I received this in an email. Not sure what the date was that he said this but it is a good read:
This is actually word for word what he said to a gathering of students who asked about the bailout in America Great response...
'They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English.'
I can't even talk the way these people talk:
Why you ain't,?
Where you is,?
What he drive,?
Where he stay,?
Where he work,?
Who you be...?
And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.
And then I heard the father talk.
Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth
In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living.
People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.
The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal.
These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids.
$500 sneakers for what??
And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics.
I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit.
Where were you when he was 2
Where were you when he was 12?
Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol?
And where is the father? Or who is his father?
People putting their clothes on backward:?
Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong?
People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something???
Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body?
What part of Africa did this come from?
We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa.
I say this all of the time. It would be like white people saying they are European-American. That is totally stupid.
I was born here, and so were my parents and grand parents and, very likely my great grandparents. I don't have any connection to Africa, no more than white Americans have to Germany, Scotland, England, Ireland, or the Netherlands?. The same applies to 99 percent of all the black Americans as regards to Africa.
So stop, already! ! !
With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap .....
and all of them are in jail.
Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem.
We have got to take the neighborhood back.
People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now.
We have millionaire football players who cannot read.
We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job.
Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us.
We have to start holding each other to a higher standard.
We cannot blame the white people any longer.'
Dr. William Henry 'Bill' Cosby, Jr., Ed.D.
So many words to say the same as that guy on Idol:
“Pants on the ground, pants on the ground
looking like a FOOL with your pants on the ground.”
FWIIW I am 90% sure I saw Cosby say words to this effect when he as on some show like Oprah. He was under fire from the normal group of race pimps for it.
That’s pretty old but still true today.
Prison edicate. I tell my son if he does that, he loses any hat he's wearing at the time, probably forcefully.
this link shows where and when he made these comments. I'm astonished that he made them at a NAACP function.
I believe that Bill Cosby would be a better, more educated President!
I think he was giving a speech at some black convention of some kind. I don’t know if it was a NAACP deal or something, but Rush played audio clips of this. this was if I remember right about 8-10 years ago. Needless to say the blacks there were not that excited about his speech.
About 2/3 of Blacks, I know, dislike being called African-Americans. They know that, since a dictionary definition of African is a resident of Africa, an African-American is anyone who was born in Africa, immigrated to the U.S., and became an American citizen. This definition includes a few races, so whether someone is an African-American cant be determined by his or her skin color.
I say: What is the point of getting an education if you still look, sound and behave like trash?
There was a video floating around from a few weeks ago that showed - I think a CNBC reporter, but am not positive - interviewing a Canadian Olympian who happened to be black. But, in the set up piece and during the interview, the reporterette repeatedly referred to the athlete as an African-American. It was hysterical.
Had one today named Quandarious. My hand to God.
This is great! And the great thing is he has lots of street cred from his “hate whitey” years —somehow if his folks know he hates my kind, they MIGHT listen to him. I sure hope so, anyway.
Ever hear Chris Rock tear into this guy..? Chris Rock is funny, but Bill Cosby is right, here.
In an episode of COPS, I think it was, some time ago, I remember a black perp letting us know he had fifteen children by nine "baby-mommas" -- ridiculous.
Evident ally a lot of them still aren't excited. Sad.
I have a black friend who said that all of his cousins were born out of wedlock and that one of his cousins had four kids, with three men. That friend of mine, Robert, wrote, in a high school English essay, that NAACP stands for National Association for the Advancement of Communist People. He was in Detroit. The teacher was black, and all of the students, at the school, were black. The teacher argued, and Robert told her, “The NAACP doesn’t try to help all Blacks. They only help the liberal ones.”
Talk about being spot on .Kudos to Bill Cosby
Yup,you've got that right.Better...more educated...more mature...more thoughtful...superior in *EVERY SINGLE* way to Hussein...Senator Hairplugs...The Former Twelfth Lady....Colon Powell....
Luckily he had that articulate, light-skinned fella to vote for last time.
