It was 1962 and I was attending Rutgers in New Brunswicj NJ. Saturday night in Greenwich Village was the place to be. The Peppermint Lounge with Chubby Checker and the Cafe Waa with Bill Cosby!
I believe that Bill Cosby would be a better, more educated President!

About 2/3 of Blacks, I know, dislike being called African-Americans. They know that, since a dictionary definition of African is a resident of Africa, an African-American is anyone who was born in Africa, immigrated to the U.S., and became an American citizen. This definition includes a few races, so whether someone is an African-American cant be determined by his or her skin color.

A dozen years later, a graduating classmate at R.U. confided to me how bad affirmative action's racial preferences made him feel. And he was a good student.
