That is why some people here support Operation Rescue type civil disobedience to protest heinous law (1973), like the civil disobeyers protested unjust laws in the 1960s.
I personally think we need to go beyond even that and fund, finance and promote a Life ethic and abstinence based sex education in the country - crisis pregnancy centers throughout the land and shame and taboo heaped upon young men who would get a young woman pregnant and walk away from her. Also promotion of teaching Life choices in the public schools and private schools (public schools need to give equal hearing to Life Choices, as they are our tax dollars too!!)
Such actions will go far in reducing abortions.
And we need to fight the legal battles that would, as someone opined above, make it illegal to kill a child 5 minutes after birth, but not 5 minutes before birth.
