I find it odd that someone would fly across the world to take care someone elses personal affairs and their home. Who does that until someone is incapacited, missing, or completely incompetent.

Well, according to current theory, he's supposed to vanish without a trace when nobody's observing him.

The problem here is that when they went to observe him, he was still vanished.

It was his brother and he wasen’t married, so I guess he was the logical one to do what has to be done. Evidently no relatives in the states.
