Everyone knows, or should by now with all of the birther hullabaloo, Article II of the Constitution and its three requirements for the Commander-in-Chief: He must be a natural born Citizen, at least thirty-five years old, and have resided for at least fourteen years within the United States.
Most Americans, according to the media, accept Obamas alleged place of birth as Hawaii and his US citizenship. Many, though, especially in tea party circles, express frustration with his seeming lack of transparency, want to see more than the short-form birth certificate posted on the internet, and ask questions like: Where do we put the plaque? Everyday Americans must show a birth certificate and other credentials to get jobs, drivers licenses, loans, passports, play on sports teams, etc., and they wish that Obama would just present his so we can get on with it. These viewpoints earn them the dreaded label of birther.
The majority of birthers consider themselves Constitutionalists, and whether or not they have questions about Obamas Hawaiian birth, they do have reservations about the natural born part because of his Kenyan father, who was not an immigrant and never a US citizen, resulting in Obama Jr. admittedly being a dual citizen at birth. Scholars and attorneys could debate the definition of natural born for hours. Combine that question with the current political correctness of birthright citizenship, dual citizenship/allegiance and immigration, and the arguments become even more heated.
But what if the eligibility issue was much simpler to grasp: What if it had to do with the simplest of the three Presidential criteriaAge?
Imagine this:...

To me the label of Birther is not dreaded.
I am ashamed that other Americans are willing to take the word of this Kenyan without his allowing them to see the “proof”.
Given that the MSM went through all of Sarah Palin’s financial and personal documents...why are they SO uninterested in Barry’s background?
Hmmmm???

We know more about Joe the Plumber than Barry the Usurper!
I believe that this was referred to in the article. A Black Panther Party member was kicked off the ballot because we was not 35. (Some years ago in California, I believe.)
Prior presidents not rquired to prove citizenship some point out. But things change. Often for good reason.
Tens of millions of citizens past were not required to prove citizenship/eligibility to get a job here. But we must.
The I-9 form. Are members of Congress required to sign? The president? Citizenship is specified by the Constitution; 7 years for representatives, 9 years for senators; and natural born for president.
But wait! for those interested there's a new I-9 Form required as of August 7, 2009 (Looks to me that it's being phased out).
New employees will not be required to provide their Social Security Number except where the employer participates in the E-Verify program. (E-Verify also being phased out?)
The requirement for federal contractors to participate in the E-Verify program has been postponed. It's now up to the Obama Administration to decide. Ans: federal contractors will not be required to participate in the E-Verify program (soon to be defunct anyway?).
Other things are no longer required fot I-9.
All it takes in order to have a lawless society is to ignore the laws. It would not be an understatement to say that Obama is working outside of the Constitution.
That's right. We have to release our long form b.c., Mr. President. Why not you?
All we are saying♩♪♫
is give release a chance♩♪♫
By the way,....It is through **individual** people sending this information to everyone they know that the polls now show that in some states those who question Obama’s eligibility is now 50% ( or more!)
Person to person, e-mail to e-mail, Facebook and You tube onward, the American people **know** about the issue. This is **AMAZING**! Americans know despite the near complete media blackout.
There is no possible way that either Republicans or Democrats can tip toe around this great big stinky carcass of road kill blocking the road to the elections.
Most Americans, according to the media, accept Obamas alleged place of birth as Hawaii
ACCORDING TO THE MEDIA? OH please. Now that is a credible source.
If the Secretaries of State would put Obama on the ballot based on his sole word, then Orly should be too!!!
A Birther by any other name is still a Birther.
Except that it would take people about 10 minutes to come up with documented proof she was born overseas. Birthers have been trying for 18 months and haven't been able to accomplish that.
Thanks for the ping, null and void.
Very good read. We’d know more about my husband if he ran for dog catcher than we do about the Kenyan. And he wouldn’t have anything to hide...unlike that *other one*.
It will all come out someday.
The powers that be are determined that our ‘manchurian’ president fit a certain preformulated image and achieve certain goals.
We just to have hang in there and do our best to keep our constitution safe to the best of our ability.
I am not a birther...his birth place is the lest of our worries.
We need to focus on reducing the federal powers and strengthening each state’s ability to resist DC. Vote out progressives in both parties.
I get many emails (regarding this issue) from people that I never would've expected to even CARE about it. Slowly, the message is getting out.
Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God...
We either have a Constitution or we don’t.
Do we actually know he's what they are calling African-American?
I mean, we haven't seen his Birth Certificate so how do we know who his parents really were?
Yeah, I know what he looks like, but maybe he's just "passing". Or maybe he had some plastic surgery like Michael Jackson. We haven't seen his medical records either.
Can he prove he's African-American? How do we know?
