When police in Navarre, Florida received a call for a noise complaint, they arrived to find a bleeding man running toward them along with his girlfriend. The man's groin was dripping blood, and he was screaming that he'd been shot...
Amanda Kelly told a deputy that her dad, William Russell Kelly Jr., had shot her boyfriend Randall Carter at their home. The reason for dad's ire, according to the younger Kelly: "He hates him, dude."
William readily admitted to the shooting, but claims a different motive. He says he unloaded his .45 revolver, which he affectionately calls "The Judge," because Carter was assaulting this daughter. "I shot him in the nuts with bird-shot because he was beating my daughter," Kelly told police.
He's been charged with aggravated battery. Carter, meanwhile, has already received his sentence for messing with an armed man's daughter.
I’m thinking the dad should walk.
Thats gonna leave a mark....
Beat me to it...wait a minute, that's not right either... ;-)
CCI makes them. About useless.
Not only should the police not prosecute for this justifiable action, they should encourage it.
My first pistol was a .22 that my father gave me. It stayed loaded with what I called rat shot for me to use in the barns and silos when I saw a rat. I could do my chores and carry it easily instead of carrying my 14guage around while I worked. I musta been 12 years old.......

It’s worth consideration as a tagline!
Personally, I think “The Judge” is a total waste of money. Kids like ‘em though.
Im guessing he shot the goblin with a taurus judge, which fires either 45 colt ammunition or 410 ga shotshells.
Depending upon the distance he shot from, the balls are probably history.
Guess, in this case, BIRDSHOT was the word!
taurus revolvers work just fine...supposedly the taurus 1911s are top knotch too.
Sounds pretty justifiable to me.
Doesn’t sound like the daughter is backing up the abuse story. I have a hunch that dad is going to do some serious jail time.
True story. My best friend from childhood went to pick up a girl at her parents house. My friend,6’3”, 210#, the son of competition shooter on the United States Army Rifle Team, and at 20 already had two years as a United States Marine, walked into the house to find dad cleaning his shotgun. Dad of course made the stupid macho posturing, and my buddy leaned over, put one hand on the shotgun, the other hand on dad’s shoulder and said, “I know you love your daughter, so you get one free threat. Make another and I’ll make you eat this thing right here in your kitchen. Don’t even think for minute that you’re the badass in this room. Semper Fi” They’ve been married for 22 years now, and dad still hates him.
The creepiest thing about that picture is the guy’s thumb ring. What is that? A fag flag?
