Ok, I am officially gagged! I want to puke!
He has made some mistakes for sure.
I think he is making another.
Specifically, he is now going on the record as being regretful for how he “was” and will be different moving forward.
He damn sure better be perfect. (can anyone do that?)
It may have been wiser to say- “oh well. That’s me. Thought I was different. Wanted to be different. But I aint diferent. Sorry.”
Given today’s performance, he has given himself one helluva row to hoe. (no pun)
Tiger didn’t apologize until he got caught. And his lawyer probably wrote the apology... Sorry - I don’t buy it.
I hope he is sincere.
how true
I didn’t watch the event, but I believe he’s just apologizing so he can go back to golfing and maybe making big bucks with endorsements. If he doesn’t apologize, he’s toast, plain and simple. I think he’s sorry, but only because he got caught.
Because the msm will cover this like the second-coming of Christ....Tiger has an impact on our kidslike it or notand it ticks me off to no end that the msm is foaming over a guy the can’t keep ‘it’ in his pants...
Well, I make my mistakes in business operations. I have a good wife and kids and I go home to them when the day is done. I never put myself in a position where I will be publicly judged for indiscreet behavior. That is part of the learning process. Enough other people have destroyed their lives that way, but it seems like no one learns from it.
I’m certainly not sinless, but I’ve never cheated on my spouse, nor have I betrayed the trust of anyone.

you should watch the apology and form your opinion after that
I never let the talking heads from any network tell me what happened, it's best to form your own impression.
I agree. He is basically trying to get back an image that was totally false anyway. Better to admit the truth that he wasn’t ready to settle down and the marriage was premature as he had wild oats to sow.
1) Not necessary.
2) Too long. 5 minutes would have been more sincere.
3) Not a drop of emotion, but that could be his normal personality. He is a stone cold competitor and that is good for the business he is in.
4) Too clever by half. Too perfect, hitting exactly all the right points in exactly the right order. Even portrayed himself (somewhat correctly) as a victim at exactly the right moment. Hollywood, not humility.
5) Apparently done solely for money since the real issues are being kept private as they certainly should be.
Other than that it was kinda boring. Oh well, can’t have everything.
You’re just jealous. Most guys would swoon at the prospect of getting to bed the number of chicks available to Tiger Woods. I wish people could grow up and get real lives of their own.
it was very well written & delivered.....and I am so glad he didn’t blubber
That was rediculous! None of our business. Now, get out of the stupid Rehab and back on the practice green. Maybe next time the news media will be a little more careful in the “story” they concoct around somebody. Just put your TV on mute folks, and watch the best golf the world has ever seen. The problem isn’t Tiger’s its a stupid bunch of sportscasters that tried to tell us he was something other what he was. And just like the Hopey Changey thing ... people bought the lie. (I hope the rehab didn’t ruin his backswing!)
But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:27-28)
Seems to me a guy has willfully sinned long before dropping his pants
Wow! and I thought Tiger was selfish!
I am glad Elin wasn’t there or Jack and Arnold.
Now THAT is the quote of the day.
how bout 40 mistakes over 4 years. If he wants to make ammends, he should cut his wick off and donate it to science. That would show he is serious.
He's just another asshat and so glad his soon-to-be X wasn't there. I hope he gets run off the courses by a vocal crowd of anti-T.
