In an obvious ambush of Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina, Fox News commentator Glen Beck told Medina in a radio interview that he had received emails from listeners saying that she was a 9/11 truther, that is, a person who believes that the U.S. government was behind the 9/11 attacks.
Medina failed to specifically deny the charge, indicated that she didnt have an opinion on the matter, stated that some good questions had been raised about the issue, and said that the American people had not seen all the evidence. Medina later issued a statement stating that she has never been involved in the 9/11 truth movement and affirming her conviction that the U.S. government was not behind the 9/11 attacks.
After the interview was over, Beck and his on-air cohorts began yucking it up, scratching off any prospects for Medina, who has recently soared from 4 percent in the polls to 24 percent, to win the race. Wow! Beck exclaimed, The fastest way back to four percent. I think I can write her off the list.
Becks mindset was precisely the type of mindset that I described in my September 17, 2009, article Operation Northwoods and the 9/11 Truthers. That article addressed the mindset of Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer regarding the 9/11 truthers, a mindset that is clearly the same as Becks.

I expressed no conclusions other than she failed to give a straight forward answer in the post you jumped about... You jumped about my conclusions and I still stand by that. She can no straight forward answer to the questions that began with:
1. “Do you believe”
2. “would you disavow”
Sorry you have a problem with that understanding... Take care and don’t work too hard today.
I have no problem with understanding...or remembering your prior posts about Medina, that is how I knew you were being disengenuous. I jumped to no conclusions about your supposed non-conclusions, it is clear that you were making an attempt at playing innocent...supposedly not taking sides in that post...and just got busted.
We can agree to disagree about Medina, but please just be up front about your agenda next time...fair enough? You take care too and have a good weekend.
Beck’s effort to sabotage Medina was
extremely transparent. This should remind us all that entertainers are just that...entertainers.
I must give GB his due, his passion is in the right place when it comes to instructing us exactly what is going on with the BHO admin.
He has changed, every since he got together with BOR. I hope the pressure he most likely receives from FNC,the WH hasn’t seen him fall of the wagon. I fear it’s more serious & if he doesn’t find his inner strength soon he will have a breakdown.
I am angry of his attacks on Tea Party folks who just a year ago he allied with. I am pissed he’s attacking Birther’s & accusing us of being Liberal nuts, especially considering most birther’s are conservative.
But what I won’t do is vehemently denounce him & get negative when I’m not in his shoes. I won’t judge him, but don’t mistake that with weakness, in the fact I am angry & disappointed.
I would rather take quotes from Marco Rubio’s speech:
``From tea parties to the election in Massachusetts, we are witnessing the single greatest political pushback in American history,’’MARCO RUBIO
“Privileged to be part of the single greatest society”
“Our rights come from GOD NOT government”
“WILL WE CONTINUE TO BE EXCEPTIONAL?”
Like you - and many here - have great a appreciation for Glenn and his 'work'. Watch his show; but while most appreciative; am not as enthusiastic as I was; and it is because I get 'pained' everytime he 'slams' per your 'birther' issues above. He also slammed Scott Brown and his victory; and worst, perhaps, for me. . .he speaks always in the harshest of terms whenever he mentions Bush's name; as if he were worse than Obamanation himself. And of course, the 'forever level playing field' whereby he casts every Repub as equal to every lying, socialist/progressive/fascist Demrat.
That said; still listen; watch when available. ..though more often, just over my shoulder to avoid directly the impact of his 'hits'/lol which I am now feeling as 'real pain'!
Do worry about his edginess as well. Think sometimes he is a walking heart attack on air.
But again; he is bringing an education to so many; who otherwise would never imagine, the inner workings of our current politics; while he challenges us all to go 'back' and appreciate our Founding Fathers and our Constitution. That I do appreciate.
But I can appreciate that without the rest of the grief shared by Glenn. And more often; am thinking I may have to do just that.
La Raza candidate Medina:
"Its a shame isnt it, that Republicans continue to ignore Hispanics especially here in Texas? Debra Medina
"Who is going to think more about Latino families? Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchison or me, who has a Latino family? Debra Medina
"Being married, however, to someone with a Mexican American heritage, I certainly embrace the culture. Debra Medina
"I believe we too often get into race when its immaterial. Debra Medina

Great points with which I agree.
She is a loon.
Rubio was great!
Got good future feelings about that youngin’ -g-
Since I don’t own a tv, I don’t watch him.
Suspect the Saudi money invested at Fox news is going to force more changes in the news we hear.
