"24" Themed Countdown Clock (1 Minute)
Set in New York City, "Day Eight" unfolds amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations as President Allison Taylor (Jones), alongside new chief of staff ROB WEISS (Chris Diamantopoulos), negotiates international security with OMAR HASSAN (Anil Kapoor), a determined Middle Eastern leader visiting the U.S. on a peacemaking mission. As the new day begins, an upgraded CTU operates under the command of M.B.A.-schooled, razor-sharp head honcho BRIAN HASTINGS (Mykelti Williamson), who supervises quirky CHLOE O'BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub), expert data analyst DANA WALSH (Katee Sackhoff) and systems analyst ARLO GLASS (John Boyd).
COLE ORTIZ (Freddie Prinze Jr.), an ex-Marine who wants to follow in Bauer's footsteps, leads field operations while Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching) returns with an agenda of her own. Created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, 24 is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television in association with Teakwood Lane Productions.

Palmer? Eh. Not really sad about it as it pushed the series along. Killing Michelle, Edgar and now Freckles just seemed more of a “shock the viewer” move and they were very good people.
Curtis is some ways as well, but the actor wanted out and wanted his character to die, so that didn’t make me sad either.

Here's Audrey.
She was the clingy daughter of the Secretary of Defense (William Devane) in seasons 4 & 5. Every time Jack's cell rang it was Audrey wondering where he was.
"Not now, Audrey!"
Last time we saw her, she was out of her mind, living with her dad in his coastal California mansion.

I hate the writers of this show...I hope they never get a project again. Having Freckles wiped out was one of the cheapest stunts ever done..... I completely agree.
They only did it to have a "shocking" ending. And it wasn't shocking all. There was no reason to kill her off.
The "writers" have no ideas.

Here is a clue. Jack gets P.O.’d. Goes after the Russians. Connects the envoy President to someone who did buisness with the Russians, and.........Jack comes face to face with his own FATHER.
