Why is this assumed to be a zot? It’s about alcohol and conversation. I’m game.

I’ll take your word for it if it comes with a beer.

Cabin fever. Snow days here.

Ok, it’s only been one day so far but another day tomorrow and I’m antsy.

A beer would make me happy too, for a while ..... and the ensuing year of beers would probably make me dead.

Not good.

Fortunately, for me, beer is good. Light Beer. Gotta watch the calories.

Beer is good.

I just packed a lifetime’s worth of its goodness into a few years, and inflicted some damage as a result. (Of course the fifth-a-day of whisky didn’t help much ... <;^} )

I knew there would be confusion. I’m thinking of THE LONG GOODBYE, in a scene between Elliott Gould and Sterling Hayden. Of course, I didn’t quite have it right:

Roger Wade aka Billy Joe Smith: What’ll you have?
Philip Marlowe: What are you drinking?
Roger Wade aka Billy Joe Smith: What I’m drinking is called Aquavit.
Philip Marlowe: I’m drinking what you’re drinking.
Roger Wade aka Billy Joe Smith: Well God bless you. I like to hear that. People these days go, “Oh, I want a little of this. Oh, and a little of that and a twist of lemmon.” Balls!

Eww. I haven’t had whiskey or any kind of alcohol(other than beer) since college. Other than a few times and some jello shots, yuck.

Love beer.

Had a bad experience with wine down the shore, water slide and too much wine (WILDWOOD, remember that first water slide on the boardwalk), when I was young. Spent the night in the bathroom, not fun. Bad experience with Alabama Slammers during college years. Another night hugging the toilet and not fun. Switched to slo gin fizz but still got sick. And don’t even mention the grain alcohol. I’m a lightweight. My husband calls light beer colored water.
